I’m reblogging this here because this piece definitely falls under the crafts category. It really does look like cardboard. Everyone who sees it on my table has to pick up and feel it because they believe it to be paper. I’m tickled I won.

Remember this give-away for a corrugated-looking ceramic dish/piece of art? Well, it’s now mine all mine!

One of the corners crumpled in shipping, but the cool thing is it actually looks like it’s meant to be that way. This happy accident just added more character to an already unique piece of pottery

My various efforts and attempts at using a pottery wheel. I accidentally got black glaze on one of them so I got frustrated and splattered black all over everything.

It is inspiring to see someone make a mistake and then turn it into something positive. The black splatters are what make these little hand-thrown pots so unique, great job! (BTW, throwing on a wheel is a lot more difficult than the movie “Ghost” makes it look.)
