TOP PHOTO: Okay, so I thought maybe by gathering the things I talked about in my previous post my crafting mojo would rear its lovely head. I’m too lazy to find links to everything, but there are a few.

Things on my craft table:
Color Shine, by Heidi Swapp, spritz to add some glitz
Journaling cards
Tiny tissue/cellophane-type envelopes
Red glitter in a vintage-y container (all the above gifts from my daughters, ty!)
A package of itty-bitty wooden birds I found at Michael’s
A rubber stamp by La-La Land Crafts, what a beauty, love the little bonsai tree stamp that came w/her
A lantern rubber stamp and coordinating die (I thought they would go with the above stamp), and a cutie-patooty bunny girl stamp I plan to use for Easter cards, by CC Designs from All That Scraps

SECOND PHOTO: Me, sitting on the floor at Beverly’s, going through their 5-for-$5, 12”x12” scrapbooking paper. Dawn was opposite me doing the same and apparently taking pictures as well.

THIRD PHOTO: Dixie (aka Twinkle Toes cause she can jump up on the dining room table from the freaking floor!), officially hubby’s new baby girl! It was love at first sight for the both of them. She has stuck to him like glue ever since she was brought through our front door. I’m so happy for their bond, he needed her just as much as she needed him.

I made this for my beautiful niece who turned 18. Her favorite book is The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, so we gave her a gift set of his books, two of them signed. Dawn suggested I make the card along the same lines. The envelope looked better IRL. (The flash did funny things to the pearlescent ink I applied to both.)

My brother (Alex is his granddaughter) is sitting there and he pulls out the birthday card I made for him back in November, shows it off a bit and then puts it back in the pocket of his jacket. I think this getting old stuff isn’t all bad.
