Now that I know our tumblr friend received her graduation card (congratulations, Beth!) I can post it. Quick rundown: I embossed the background and cut the quill, inkwell and parchment from dies. I used vellum for the parchment and inkwell, and used plain white cardstock for the feather. I made a gazillion tiny little thin cuts to make it look more feather-like. Dawn cut the inside graphic and sentiment on her Silhouette. (more details)
I’m thinking of making more feathers in different colors. They may end up stored along side my stash of rosettes, but it’s the process I like, so…
